This customized 1969 Pontiac Firebird coupe is the sister car to the Chevrolet Camaro, sharing a lot of parts. But the Pontiacs certainly have their own style with the front end treatment, different taillights, quarter panel treatment, and more. The exterior is finished in a two-tone black and green that nicely splits the car horizontally. The iconic “Firebird” is painted on and has a beautiful metallic finish with blue-green inlays that are absolutely stunning!
A powerful crate 350 engine rumbles through the true dual exhaust. An Edelbrock carburetor pulls in the air and fuel as Patriot headers enhance that rumble. Power front disc brakes bring the Bird to a halt when needed. Eagle Alloy wheels are wrapped by BFGoodrich rubbers.
Customization continues to the interior where houndstooth upholstery covers the buckets seats. Hand-painted pinstriping flows down the center console. AutoMeter NV gauges have been freshly installed and keep an eye on things. An AM/FM/CD/Aux/USB headunit has been installed for those who get tired of hearing American Muscle…. Not sure who that would be.
First gen Firebirds offer plenty of performance, looks, and wide aftermarket options and they never last long!
